Angela Simmons, daughter of Run-D.M.C rapper Joseph Simmons, gave birth at the end of September but has kept the baby name quiet – until now!
The model, 29, is most famous for her role on her father’s reality series, “Run’s House.”
She shared the news with her 4.1 million followers on Instagram, revealing the name of her new baby boy: “My favourite part of me. Sutton Joseph Tennyson” and, in another photo, wrote: “The best part of life has begun #Motherhood #ImsoInLove.” Many fans were quick to congratulate her and the praise the choice of baby name.
Angela named her baby after her fiancé and her baby’s father, Sutton Tennyson, 35. So, technically, her son is Sutton Tennyson, Jr.! This is the couple’s first baby together and they got engaged just months before Angela announced that she was pregnant back in May.
We love the name choice! Sutton is actually a very traditional name meaning “from South Farm,” and was originally an English surname.
