In answer to OP - my favourite by...
Brodie is an absolutely gorgeous, classy, handsome name, if I do say so myself :)
Its Scottish (as in castle Brodie), not American - not every name ending in an ee sound is American.
Not that...
Love the suggestion of Ava Penelope. I think Phoebe Ava sounds better than Ava Phoebe.
Ava Saffron
Ava Willow
Ava Emily
Ava Madeline
Ava Yasmin
Ava Bethany
Hubby and I always said we'd have 3 or 4, ideally one of each. Now we have 2 boys and 2 girls which is fantastic, and I wouldn't want any more! More than 2 is hard work!
No more safe and popular than Benjamin. They're perfectly fine names and if she's set on them it doesn't matter what we think of them
I like Edie but prefer Eden to Edith. Also like Martha and Etta (not Loretta).
5/10
Like Saskia (it's my name) but find Grace dull and overused.
Estee Flora (ess-tay)
Love Madeline (mad-ah-line, like the French cartoon) but hate Madeleine, which looks fussier and will always have pn problems (mad-ah-lyn/layne).
At the moment, probably Seth Jacob or Eden Flora...
Well obviously I love it having got a Dylan myself. It's a beautiful, classic without being too traditional, and cool without being chavvy name. It's cute on a baby, cool on a kid and classy on an...
I'm 25. I was only 16 (and 3/4 lol) and hubby was 19 when we had our first.
I'd say it "nih-loo-fer", with a short sound at the beginning and emphasis on the "loo" in the middle.
I think Ayla is beautiful, but it (and similar names) are very popular at the moment.
Anousheh is really lovely, and I don't think it's that difficult to work out how it's pronounced as it's...
I actually like them all! Having a Phoebe myself, obviously I love it. Don't get the "doesn't age well" comments at all - it's flipping ancient Greek so done well ageing-wise over the last couple...
Freya, Isla, Ava, Olivia, Mia, Clara if you want another name ending in A? Esmé, Phoebe, Jasmine, Willow, Xanthe?
I think having the same middle name (especially if it's one of two mns) is fine!
Ditto
I voted Edie Olivia Hope as I like the flow of it - but I'd have Eden nn Edie. Love Delilah but Edie Delilah doesn't flow well because of the Ds.
I can get where you're coming from - I totally think it's a hormonal thing though. It's so lovely having a snuggly newborn you don't ever want these early weeks to end.
Are you actually broody...
This^^ I also don't really like El names that much.
Alice Elara, Amélie Clara or Nova Lucia for girls
Henry Beau for a boy
I wouldn't say it goes with Jude, Isaac etc though - it's not a biblical name as far as I'm aware!
It used to be one of my favourite names - DS2 was nearly called Finlay and DD1 would have been had she been a boy. I've gone off it now though. I think it's got too popular and I'm bored of it! I...
Nicholas - can see no appeal to this name at all - just hear "knickerless"
Elijah - like
Aidan - dislike
Reuben - dislike
Luka - I like spelt Luca
Noah - dislike
Isaiah - love the sound but too...
Eva - like this
Harlow - want to like this but the place Harlow is too close to me. Other girls names ending in "oh" I like are Cleo, Hero and Juno.
Ruby - I like but I can't get away from the...
I don't like the sound of Jonas, but love Jonah. Arlo is quite nice, but not keen on Remy or Louie.
