Default would you, could you, more importantly DID YOU ???

Did anyone or do you know of anyone that ate their placenta? I didnt and dont think I would/could but if I ever HAD to I guess I'd try it in tablet form .....(not that I can ever see a reason why I would have to now)

I could never stomach it but its supposed to be highly nutritious! If it were in tablet form then maybe I'd consider it, but I don't fancy the idea of placenta lasagne or placenta smoothies much at all. I admire women with the guts to do it but not for me.

One thing I wish I had done was bury my placentas. Apparently if you bury a placenta with some seeds the tree/plant will grow bigger, healthier and stronger than it ever would have if left alone. I think its a sweet idea but I won't do it because I didn't do it with the elder two and I'd either want to do it with all my kids or not at all

I know someone who had it put into tablets and took them (the lady who had the home birth on nursing nation). I haven't talked to her about it though. She also makes placenta necklaces, where you can have some put in a pendant thing - it's a bit weird for me though I think

The thought of it makes me feel a bit odd. I'd have it in tablet form also if I had to. However I'd happily skip the tablets too. It's really not for me. I don't know anyone who has ever eaten one or wanted to eat one either.

Katy, was that the same woman who was featured on tv last year? Can't remember the programme but they had someone who collected fresh placentas and made them into either edible or wearable products for the mother.

    I think I'd give it a miss
