Pablo Picasso was a Spanish artist and was regarded as one of the most influential painters of the 20th century. He is known for co-founding the Cubist movement and his most famous paintings include “Les Demoiselles d’Avignon” and “Guernica.” Pablo is a masculine name of Spanish origin and is said to mean ‘Humble’. It has most certainly been popularised by the fame of the artist Pablo Picasso, to which it owes its introduction to Britain and America. It can be found used in English speaking countries but is mostly popular in Europe, especially in Spain where it is one of the most popular boy’s names.
