Amy Childs Opens Up About Birth and Baby Name

New mum Amy Childs gave birth two weeks ago but she has since opened up candidly about the birthing process. She described her labour as “bloody painful” and that it lasted 27 hours.

“My labour was so long and hard – it was 27 hours,” Amy wrote in her “New” magazine column. “As soon as my contractions started, I went to the hospital, but they sent me home as I was too early. I got on the birthing ball but I was in too much pain, so I was back at the hospital by midday. Labour is bloody painful! I did most of it without pain relief, but I had to have an epidural in the end as it was all too much.”

But in the end, it was all worth it when Amy saw her daughter for the first time. “I was so happy and relieved when she arrived,” added Amy. “I had to have two stitches, but I feel fine. It’s so true – you definitely forget the pain afterwards,” she wrote.

And here is the bit that interests us the most! Amy says she is still thinking over baby names but she has one in mind: “We haven’t got a name for her yet. Well, there’s one we really like but we just want to give it a few days before we decide, so hopefully by next week I’ll have the name for you!”

We can’t wait until she tells us what she has decided on and we’ll certainly be keeping our eye out!
