“The Vampire Diaries” star Ian Somerhalder has welcomed a bouncing baby girl with his wife, Nikki Reed!
“E! News” has confirmed that their daughter was born at 10.26am on 25th July and the happy couple have named her Bodhi Soleil Reed Somerhalder.
Ian and Nikki announced that they were expecting back in May with a sweet picture of Ian kissing his wife’s growing baby bump.
Nikki has also said that she will be taking a “one month silence” following the birth of her baby. “We’ll take the baby’s first month for ourselves,” she said to “Fit Pregnancy and Baby” magazine. “Just the three of us, no visitors, and we’re turning off our phones too, so there’s no expectation for us to communicate … You don’t get those first 30 days back, and we want to be fully present.”
She also said that she had kept the sex of her baby a secret until the birth. “A close friend had a son and I remember thinking, ‘I hope I have a son one day.’ Then another friend had a girl and I thought, ‘How fun would it be to have a miniature version of yourself?’ You can’t lose, no matter what,” Nikki explained.
