Olympian Amy Williams Is Pregnant

Olympic gold medalist and former British skeleton racer Amy Williams is expecting her first child with husband Craig Ham.

Apparently, Amy knew immediately that something was up and told “Hello!” magazine exactly how she revealed the pregnancy to her husband: “I had an idea something was different about my body, I think as an ex-athlete I am highly tuned to my body, so I took a test in the daytime, which was positive, then spent the rest of the day thinking how I’d tell Craig.”

She told her husband the happy news on the couple’s one-year wedding anniversary.

“In the end I wrote a little card and wrapped up the test in a box knowing he would just think it was anniversary gift! I think it was a pretty big surprise present for him!” she added.

The 34-year-old Olympian talked about how she might be having twins, as it runs in her family: “I was super anxious to find out if there was one or two babies in my belly! My mother is a twin and I am a twin and so I was wanting to find out as soon as possible if there was one or two. Craig wanted two; I only wanted one in there.”

Turns out Amy and Craig are only have one little one, though! The couple have decided to keep the baby’s gender a secret until the birth and that they wanted it to be a surprise. Their bundle of joy is due in March next year.

We wonder if their baby is going to grow up to follow in their mother’s footsteps and become an athelete as well!
