This has been a very busy week in terms of cute celebrity baby announcements!
Antony Costa, of Blue fame, has shared that he and his fiancé, Rosanna Jasmin, are expecting baby number two together!
To make the big reveal, Antony asked his two-year-old daughter, Savannah for help. He tweeted a series of adorable black-and-white pictures of his little girl holding up a sign that says “I’m Gonna Be A Big Sister!” and ultrasound photos of her new baby sibling. Antony captioned the photo “Can’t believe it,” and a series of heart emojis to show his happiness.
The singer is currently starring in the pantomime “Jack and the Beanstalk” in Woodville, Gravesend but he said that he would be taking a Christmas break to spend time with his family. We think this is an especially important time, seeing as he is expecting another baby soon and Christmas is a time for celebration and bonding.
Antony and Rosanna had their first daughter in June 2014, but it was a “traumatic” experience for the couple. She had to go through a 30-hour ordeal and Antony admitted that he felt useless.
“The thing is, I felt so useless,” Antony told “Hello!” magazine in July 2014. “To see your loved one going through the pain she did is horrible. You don’t know what to do and when they said they needed to get the baby out straight away, I thought, ‘This is dangerous now. This is life or death.'”
“Seeing what Rosanna went through has made us even closer. I’ve promised I will never complain about having a headache again,” he continued.
Looks like this experience hasn’t stopped them from trying again for another baby and we’re so glad! Congratulations to the happy couple!
