The couple meet on the film set of ‘The Rum Diary’ back in 2009 and announced they were a couple in June 2012 after Depp split with wife and mother of his two children Lily-Rose, 17, and Jack, 14. They were engaged in 2014 before tying the knot on his private island in the Bahamas on the 3rd of February 2015. In May of this year, Heard files for divorce after allegations of domestic abuse surfaced.

Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart

The pair met in 2011 when JLo was on tour and Casper was her backup dancer. They split briefly in 2014, but briefly re-kindled their relationship. However, at the end of august they decided to call time on their relationship and sources close to the couple say that they will remain friends.

Name meanings: Jennifer is the Cornish form of Guinevere and means either “white”, “faith” or “smooth”. Casper is the Dutch version of Jasper, meaning “treasurer” in Persian.

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris:

The music power couple split in June this year following their one-year anniversary in March. A source told “People” magazine that: “There was no drama. Things just don’t work out sometimes. No one cheated.” However another source said that the couple had drifted apart recently and had become more friends rather than lovers. Taylor then went on to have a highly publicised, three-month relationship with Tom Hiddleston over the summer, which ended abruptly at the beginning of September.

Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger

This July saw another celebrity couple split following a 10 year romance. A source close to the pair told ‘Hello Magazine’ that they had “decided to separate and remain friends.” The Hollywood couple starting dating back in 2006 and actually got engaged in January 2016, although they never made it down the aisle because they weren’t religious.
